Details of Event

Fall of roof at face cliff 3ft. by 6ft. by 22ins. thick. A collier was ripping on his stall road close to the heading and when he succeeded in getting a piece down a fall occurred on the heading which killed deceased and injured another collier. There was a vertical joint on each side and a slip at one end. Two props had been taken out to get the roof down in the stall. Four feet seam.
