Deceased was taking a tram of coal along a heading when the horse slipped in going over a sweep rail, and he fell off the ‘gun’ and was crushed by the tram. The horse had had two or three days rest and consequently was rather fresh, and was trotting at the time. The driver ought to have led him. He died on February 5th, 1907, from the result of the injuries.
