He was hewing in a jud when a stone, 3 feet by 3.25 feet by 3.25 feet, fell from a slip on its left side and a 2 feet dip hitch on its outbye side, and broke his spine. He died 2nd February, 1908. The deputy had been in the place ten minutes prior to the stone falling, but he had net seen anything wrong.
