Fall of roof on road while walking outbye along main roadway at the end of the shift. A portion of the roof measuring 9ft. 10ins. by 8ft., by 12 ins. in thickness one end, and 6ins. at the other, suddenly fell upon him as he was passing under it. The stratum is sandstone rock, in a hard heading through a fault. Safety lamps.
