- Details of Event
- Deceased was assisting to lift a full tram on to the rails, when his feet slipped and the tram injured the lower part of his back. He was seen by the doctor on the following day. As there was a good deal of swelling, the doctor advised lancing it but deceased objected to this treatment. He allowed it to be lanced three days after when a quantity of pus was discharged. Blood poisoning set in and he died on the 2nd Dec.
