Deceased was killed at the foot of an incline by a runaway journey of loads which broke loose through a drawbar breaking whilst the set was being drawn up the incline. After the journey had started deceased followed behind it to a heading 10 yards above a refuge hole at the bottom. He was returning towards this refuge hole when the portion of the journey ran back and overtook him before he could reach safety.
